Whether you like it or not, the face below will be face that everyone in the world thinks about when you mention "America" for generations to come.

You may disagree with me that George W. Bush is certainly NOT the face of America.
You may show me all kinds of polling data which tries to convince me that, because his approval is so low, he should not be "the face of America" because Americans don't like him or his policies.
You may like to say that in 2008 we won't have to worry about him anymore because a "new face of America" will emerge and will sweep the "old face of America" under the proverbial rug.
But isn't a large part of Bush's legacy going to be the fact that...
HE GOT AWAY WITH IT.
On Friday the Chief of the Human Rights Commission at the United Nations confirmed to the world that "waterboarding" -- which the U.S. has now admitted to using -- is, in fact, a war crime. Louise Arbour added that...
"Violators of the U.N. Convention against Torture should be prosecuted under the principle of 'universal jurisdiction' which allows countries to try accused war criminals from other nations."
Got that?
This U.S. administration has now admitted to participating in war crimes.
AMERICAN officials now qualify to be prosecuted for war crimes.
And we STILL hear nothing from the Democratic party as to what should be done about this. Impeachment is STILL off the table. And the last time I checked, I don't see millions upon millions marching in Washington to demand that justice be served to stop the desecration that is occurring to America's "good" name.
So, how can you not say that Bush is NOT "the face of America"?
Look at him in this video!!
He is the most smug as I have ever seen him. He has not a worry in the slightest of what crimes he has committed -- in YOUR name. He laughs and chuckles because he know congress will not hold him accountable. He smirks and grins because he knows the corporate media will send his crimes down the memory hole.
But make no mistake about it.
As much as Americans want to forget about him, he will be "the face of America" for generations to come for those who are not American.
